Man Card Examples

Recently I participated in a swap in one of my demo groups.  I received some great samples. The first group I want share are man cards.  For some reason these are very hard for most people. The stamp set He's All That makes some awesome man cards. It comes as a bundle as you can see below.

The cards I am showing you today were created by other demonstrators.  Where possible I have given them credit for their creations.

Better Than Sliced Bread

Better than sliced  bread - that's what my relatives used to say about something that is awesome.  I am ancient and I only remember sliced bread.  Oh well! Stamping' Up's new magnetic plate is awesome.  I received mine last week and have started to play with it.  So far it is great!  If you use a Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine (SCEM) or a Big Shot you need one of these.  (I have one of each!) It is far, far better than the last one that came out.  It has a very rigid back plate so it does not bend and the mat is self healing.

Here is what Stampin' Up! has in their description:

Thin, fully magnetic sheet with self-healing cutting surface. Magnetic Cutting Plate (Plate 5) holds dies securely in place, even nested dies. This slim, portable sheet replaces a Cutting Plate in your sandwich, making it even easier to take with you. Use with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Magnets can interfere with pacemakers; if this is a concern, please consult your physician for more information.

I love mine! Please consider adding one to your next order.

MAGNETIC CUTTING PLATE ILLUSTRATION CORRECTION

The illustration accompanying the Magnetic Cutting Plate incorrectly includes plate 2. The correct sandwich should be plates 1, 5, and 3. If you’ve experienced difficulty running your sandwich through the machine, please adjust the sandwich accordingly and try again. We are currently working on updating the packaging for future orders; meanwhile, here is an updated illustration you can use and pass along to your team members and customers. We apologize for the mix-up.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop May 2022

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

Below is a picture of all my thank you cards for May orders. My idea for these cards came from Debbie Henderson.  The basic design is the same as hers but my stamp set and colors are different.

I used the Nature's Prints stamp set from the brand new 2022-2023 annual catalog.  Nature's Print also comes a bundle but I did not use the dies on my cards.  The thanks came from the ever useful stamp set Biggest Wish.  I am so glad this one did not retire. I used some of the new in-colors on my card.  The base is Starry Sky which is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.  The designer series paper is In-Color 6"x6" Paper assortment on p 135 of the new catalog.  It is cut to 2" x 5 1/4"  and attached to the card front.  I then cut a strip of Starry Sky cardstock 3/4" x 5 1/4" and die cut it with the Basic Borders dies on p 169 of the new catalog. Before I attached it to the card front I ran the card front thru the stampin cut and emboss machine known as the SCEM for the lack of a better name using the Stitched With Whimsy dies.  After this I added the die cut strip. On a piece of Basic White that is die cut with Stitched Rectangles I stamped the leaves in Parakeet Party ink and the thanks in Starry Sky.  I use the Starry Sky to back the white piece and used stampin dimensionals to attach it to the card. I used the Glossy Dots to embellish the card.

On the inside I put a piece of Basic White with a strip of the DSP.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

As mentioned at the top, this is a blog hop so make sure you 'hop' around to all the amazing projects on this hop! Click on the links below to visit them. If you are viewing this on email click here to see the list.

SU Favorites

Stampin' Up sent us demonstrators an email this morning featuring the following 3 products. Did you own them? Do you like them? They are in the January - June Mini catalog that is still active until June 3oth.

Abstract Beauty Suite Collection (English)
[158052]
$81.25

Honestly I did not know this was a suite.  I have the DSP because one of my long time customers loves it.  When I ordered it for her and saw it I had to get some for my self.

Item 158052 ABSTRACT BEAUTY SUITE COLLECTION Get the look of hand-painting with none of the mess. Create projects for any occasion with the Abstract Beauty Suite Collection. You get a stamp set and dies, to start, but the collection doesn’t end there! The embellishments round out the offering: Designer Series Paper, hexagons, and ephemera.

 Item 157801

DETAILED DAHLIAS DIES Create a garden full of happiness with the Detailed Dahlia Dies. The large detailed cluster of flowers is a showstopper, but this set also includes flowers in a variety of sizes. You’ll find infinite ways to use them on your projects.

I did use these to create the card above.  The die cut is beautiful as a background.

Item 158130 IRIDESCENT RHINESTONES BASIC JEWELS These embellishments may be small, but they pack a big punch. The subtle iridescent shine adds the right amount of bling to your projects.

Don't let these items sneak  by you, get them before June 30th.

Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all the Mother's out there have a very special day! Especially to my three daughters for giving me the very best grandchildren making me a DeeDee.  Love every minute I get to spend with my family.  My own Mother left this earth almost twenty years ago and yesterday would have been her 97th birthday.

Happy Mother's Day
